The rooms are Super Clean, BIG AND BRIGHT, internet also high speed and fully functional even during the nation wide server failure late April my first night therewith was crucial for my home purchase online document completion and transfers..

“Great hotel. Close to the beach and parks. Very clean. Covid 19 protocols in place. Comfortable bed. Muffin, yogurt, juice, apple and coffee for breakfast and it was given to us in a paper bag. Employees were gracious and answered all our questions. Everything was good. No complaints really.”

“My husband took me for a two night stay for my birthday. We had a king jacuzzi suite. The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home. The bathroom was very clean and so was the jacuzzi. It was great to sit in our own hot tub. I would stay again. The employees are very nice.”

“This property was a bit more expensive than other options but it was also much nicer than other ones I considered. The room was much larger than average and the place was nice and clean. There weren’t many other guests at the time so there was no noise or parking problems, I didn’t even encounter another guest in the elevator during my stay at this hotel. The location was good for me but depending on what brings you to the barrie area it might not be ideal for some others, make sure you check the map before you book. overall i would highly recommend this hotel unless you are on a budget and looking for a cheapo hotel, then this isn’t the place for you. I liked it and gave it a recommendation and 5 stars.”

“Check in was easy and my room was ready 2 hours before I arrived. Room was the size of an apt ( see pics ) very clean. Bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. No complaints on my end. I would stay here again and recommend it. I have seen other reviews where they had a bad experience but that was not my experience. I stayed in room 201”

“I always stay at this hotel when I am in Barrie on business. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the lobby always clean and nice and I like the restaurant’s offerings. The food and service is good. When I am on the road I try to choose hotels where I do not have to go out. I get a free breakfast as part of my company rate and service is excellent. Nice bar atmosphere in the evenings too. Rooms are always clean and good.”

“The Fairfield Inn and Suites in Orillia is new, so all of the furnishings and appliances are excellent.
The staff – all of them – were very welcoming and helpful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay.But Orillia seems determined to keep tourists out of its beautiful beachfront parks and beaches because more than 90 per cent of the parking spaces are reserved for local residents only.
One tiny visitor parking area we found charges $50 per day from Friday to Sunday evening with no provision for hourly rates.”

“My wife and I had to book a last minute hotel stay when, after a lengthy and tiring road trip, we found out that our home, undergoing renovation, was not ready for us to move in.
We booked the Comfort Inn and Suites Barrie, which was close to where we lived. The staff were so helpful in accommodating us on short notice and making us feel very comfortable after a tiring drive. The service was impeccable throughout and the front desk team. This was not a “staycation” but the Comfort Inn and Suites took the stress out of our experience. Only complaints are the shower water pressure could be better, and it was noisy on my last day, because they were having the parking lot repaved. But, that’s not really a complaint. “It was an absolute pleasure from the moment I walked in the door. I had just left the hotel right next door.. not saying any names (Monte Carlo) because of the negativity from the lady at the desk. When I walked in I was greeted by Sonya with a huge smile and an amazingly positive attitude.
