Suite 1
This bright and airy suite is located on the second floor and overlooks a tree-lined street. It has windows on 3 sides for cross breezes, and is air conditioned for those sticky days. Access is from our private off-street parking via the backyard, so it’s always safe and secure.
Suite 2
Our premium suite, #2, is almost identical to suite #1 except it overlooks our backyard English garden, and boasts a huge eat-in kitchen complete with dishwasher and large pantry. Access is from our private off-street parking via the backyard, so it’s always safe and secure.
Suite 4
This is our luxury Garden Suite. Relax in the huge soaker tub while you watch your favorite TV program. This suite is perfect for singles for a short stay, or couples on a get-away. It’s accessed from our private off-street parking, so it’s always safe and secure.
Suite 5
This suite is ideal for a night or two. It’s our most economical suite but has all the amenities you’ll need for a short stay.
Suite 6
For the more budget-conscious, Suite # 6 is for you. Relax in this huge, bright 1 bedroom suite with heated floors and a gas fireplace. Your parking is right outside your door.

About Parkside House
Parkside House is an executive-quality, modern boutique guesthouse located on a quiet residential street, 5 minutes from the downtown core and 7 minutes from the beautiful waterfront and beaches.
They offer 5 suites in total to address guest’s needs. Two are fully outfitted and equipped one-bedroom apartments overlooking either the street or our English Garden. They’re perfect for longer term stays. Then they have a luxury Garden Suite with a huge bathroom, an Economy Suite for those on a budget and a large fully outfitted and equipped bachelor suite in the lower level complete with a patio walk-out. All suites have private entrances and bathrooms.
They’ve been in business since August 2015 and are ranked in the top three of all rated hotels in Barrie. Why? Because they are meticulous with cleaning, the beds are commercial quality along with the linens, guests get the quiet night’s sleep they’re seeking, and they offer real value by comparison to corporate hotel chains. People love the location and appreciate the value.

“Really appreciated the great place to stay, the awesome kitchen replete with great guidance on proper disposal of recycling and compostable, tips on local eateries, even a beautiful greeter kitty-cat at the entrance way. The space itself has a wonderful energy and was very comfortable. The location is within very easy walking distance to a great path along the lake and good food.
